This project was developed on a site rich with remarkable oak trees, which inspired the design of the main concrete slab that covers the primary living spaces. The architecture responds to the land’s natural contours, creating a seamless integration with the surrounding nature. Each room is thoughtfully oriented to foster a unique connection with the trees and the landscape. The concrete slab extends to envelop stone volumes crafted from locally sourced materials, blending harmoniously with the environment. The design ensures that the landscape flows continuously into the house, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Nestled between two small mountains, the project leverages the wind patterns to enhance its sustainability, making the natural elements an integral part of its design.

The space, philosophy

In this wellness space, nestled within the heart of an old house, we’ve crafted a tranquil haven that invites visitors to slow down, rejuvenate, and connect with their inner selves. Earthy tones and natural materials create a warm, grounding ambiance, while soft, calm colors flow throughout the coffee shop, artistic boutique, and healthy food corner. Each design element is carefully selected to promote a sense of balance and positive energy, drawing visitors into a sanctuary of relaxation and mindfulness. The yoga area is an oasis within itself, designed to encourage meditation and peaceful movement, enhancing the serene atmosphere that permeates the entire space. This is more than a wellness center; it’s a place where design and spirit meet, fostering harmony and inviting each guest to find their own moment of calm.

The space was created for an energetical and young team working in import and export industry. The offices overlook the Beirut port, showing every boat coming in and out.

The overall ambiance is simple and comfortable, introducing natural colors by using the materials with their basic/natural colors.

Full renovation and design for a Victorian house in London

This project represents the layers of time.
Through delicate handmade carpentry, Lebanese artisans are able to apply traditional techniques over industrial wood.

History is shown through the stratification of wood and arabesque artisanal patterns.
The end products are a creation that mirrors history and transcends the present and the future.

It is the collaboration between the designer and the craftsman (carpenters from Tripoli : OKAJIAN) that brought this project to Life.

blossom, in collaboration with Opera gallery - Beirut

"Introducing blossom, this design is inspired by the ageless nature of cedar wood, a material known for its durability and timelessness.

Elevated and placed on a pedestal, "blossom" is made to bloom and open as if coming back to life. Open and exposed, the diffusion of locally made Cedar wood oil revitalizes the space. As well as expose its heart of gold, another material that stands the test of time. Golden strokes, delicately applied by artisans, help to bring out the ageless nature of this tree. The combination of cedar wood and gold strokes creates a design that is both modern and timeless. With craftsmanship at the forefront, the log has been cut, smoothed and finished by hand to highlight the natural grain and texture of the wood. Which was followed by the meticulous application of the gold stripes and interior. The introduction of the mechanism to make this piece come to life, was carefully constructed not to interfere with the natural flow of the wood."

Nestled a hundred meters from the glistening Mediterranean Sea, this elegant architecture project embodies the timeless charm of coastal living. The development features a collection of pristine white villas, each thoughtfully integrated with private gardens, creating a serene and exclusive retreat. The terrain, generously dotted with ancient olive trees, has been meticulously preserved and woven into the landscape design, enhancing the project's natural allure.

The ambiance is a refined blend of Mediterranean grace and understated sophistication, seamlessly incorporating Lebanese architectural influences. Traditional elements such as ornate tilework and local stone of the area are harmoniously paired with modern comforts, offering a unique fusion of classic and contemporary. This harmonious design celebrates the beauty of the Mediterranean environment while honoring the rich cultural heritage of Lebanon, providing a luxurious and tranquil sanctuary by the sea.

The project is to be executed in 2025

With a great view overseeing Beirut, this space is designed with the spirit of New York City loft apartments.

It features an open floor kitchen, double height brick wall, and a custom designed black steel chimney, to convey an atmosphere that is contemporary industrial, yet warm.

This concept store with a coffee station was designed and executed in collaboration with the architect Samer Saade from Fabraca studios.
Samer came with a great sketch and concept. Our team worked on finalizing his ideas and creating new materials in order to have a great space in the heart of Batroun old Souks.

A full grey space for the love of technology and RGB lights.
The modular space has a sleeping area (foldable double bed), foldable bar , living space and office area.
The interesting part of this 40 square meter space is that you can hide the bed and the bar in the main wooden wall in order to have a wider living space during the day.

A modern addition on the old house reflecting the contemporary lifestyle and vison of the young couple.
The interior is also treated in a simple way. Each material is used in its natural way, reflecting the real colors and functions.

Concept : This villa is a composition of three volumes. The stone volume made from the local stone, holds the modern volumes (black and grey). Every floor has an outdoor escape (private garden/terrace).

Concept : This contemporary volume is made for a young couple that likes to explore the world. Privacy and big openings were mixed in order to have a great view (sea) and a private garden with a pool.

Concept : Coming back to life : this is the title of the project since it resumes our mission. The space is being redesigned to link the kitchen and the living room with a bar.  The colours used  refer more to the earth colours. The materials are all eco-friendly : Wood, bricks, steel. 
The warm lights gives it more cosiness.

Location : Jaj (alt. 1220M), Lebanon.

Description : Residential compound, deluxe chalets for rent.

Area : 50-120 m2 each.

Concept : The project keeps the memory of the landscape's wall using the local stone to create the first basement. On top, stands five independent modern elements. The direction of these elements is toward the view and the common space. The contemporary design shows the intention of the client by attracting the young artistic spirit, in order to create a warm project.

El Mir villa
Location : Ghosta - Lebanon
Altitude : 950 m

This big family house, can be transformed from the inside into three apartments where the parents and the two sons can stay and share a beautiful pool.

The wood Moucharabyeh create a pergola, reminding us of the Arisheh shading (pergola from the vines).
The sliding wood panels on the third floor create a smooth movement on the Facade. This will create more shading in the house specially during the summer.

Location : Ehmej (alt. 1250M), Lebanon.

Description : Family house, residential project.

Area : 350 m2.

Concept : This villa is made from two main elements : the heavy stone volume (local stone) and the floating white volume. The volume fits very well the landscape leaving a free space underneath the white volume. This void allows to the air coming from the valley, to continue to the village. The white volume can be independent (having a bedroom), with an extension of more bedrooms on the basement floor.

Description : Family house, residential project.

Area : 750 m2.

Concept : This villa is a modern model of the typical Lebanese house. Each room has an access to a terrace and a link to the garden. The main walls of the house start from the inside and continue to the outside creating the garden’s walls, integrating perfectly the architecture in the landscape.

Location : Mazraet yachou' (alt. 500M), Lebanon.

Description : Municipality competition - 2014, 3rd prize

Area : 2000 m2

Concept : This sustainable design integrates itself the surrounding landscape, creating a new public space: Stairs and small squares. The skin is adaptable to the sun and summer heat, shading spaces when needed. The main idea is about preserving the landscape's typography, hence we solidified the natural slope and created the staircases. Urban outcomes are very important. A new public space in Mazaraat Yachou’ would therefore generate more artistic/cultural events.

Location : Sehel Alma (alt. 125M), Lebanon.

Description : Family house, residential project.

Area : 200 m2.

Concept : The main part we worked on, is the kitchen and the living room. This deluxe apartment needs to be practical for a big family.
Who said modern cannot be warm?

Location : Amchit (alt. 25M), Lebanon.

Description : Fine Patisserie.

Area : 120 m2.

Concept : Industrial yet classy. This space is a renovation of an existing one. The main black element is the line between the sweets and the client, exhibiting the beautiful cakes in a linear way, in order to see them from every corner.
Wood, black steel and glass are the main materials.

Location : Ehmej (alt. 1200M), Lebanon.

Description : Sports club.

Area : 100 m2

Concept : Linking two existing concrete volumes (white) with an industrial steel volume, showing the dynamism of the club and reshaping the mountains in the landscape surrounding the club. Under the volume, a small piazza creates a shaded space from the sun and humidity.

Location : Blat, Jbeil (alt. 300M), Lebanon.

Description : Adding service (kitchen, WC and storage) and green house on the existing wooden cabin (shown in the 3D image only)

Area : 120 m2

Concept : The existing wooden cabin needs a service volume and a green house to function better. In order to preserve the identity of the wooden cabin, the added volumes are made from black steel and glass, touching the cabin in a soft way. The industrial design is an ecological way of interfering. The black box will have a green roof to reduce the sun's effect; as for the green house, the walls will be moving in order to create the perfect conditions according to the season.

Description : Family house, residential project.

Area : 130 m2.

Concept : The interior is made for a young couple, that love neat and clean spaces. White, grey and black are the main colours in this modern and calm loft.

Oakenfest, music festival in Lehfed, Lebanon, organised by Synck.
Since it was born in 2014, this festival’s site was designed in a way to receive young people who appreciate music and nature. This eco-event happens in July in the mountains of Byblos. Normally basic materials and LED light are used in order to preserve the identity of the OAK forest.

The landscape walls form the basement’s main walls. A modern white volume lays down on the ‘landscape walls’ overlooking the view.

This residential volume is made for a youngcouple in the mountains of Batroun. The mix of the materials (local stone and white concrete) reflects the old and the young concept.
Simplicity and integration to the site are the main engines of the concept.

This villa is located in the mountains of Laklouk, in a very exposed land that overlooks the landscape around it.
The clients wanted to have a house that is well seen from all over the area, this is why we proposed volumes that rise from the land: the stone comes from the area, and the concrete volume take the direction of the land in order to create a protection for the house and a smart volume for solar panels and snow.

This project was design for a family of five, loving minimal and industrial design.
Grey, black and white are the main colors.

Location : Batroun (Alt. 60m)

Description : Entrance renovation - Design proposal

The hospital has a lack of identity since it is hidden behind an old concrete wall. The main concept is to create an entrance for pedestrians and cars in order to integrate the wall with the surrounding.
The area of Batroun is known for its local stone : the Ramlé stone (sand stone). This material is mixed with aluminium panels and wood in order to reflect the identity of the Hospital. Rhythm and Simplicity are the two main keys.

Location : Bhersaf (alt. 900M), Lebanon.

Description : Residential Building, Deluxe apartments for sale.

Area : 300 m2 each.

Concept : The existing building was made with sand stone and traditional Arab style. The added value was the modern aspect showing the balance between the old and the new. An intervention was also made on the entrance level, and the interior design general aspect.

Ashrafye Loft
Location : Ashrafye - Beirut
The main concept is to create a lovely mood inside the city, creating in the ‘junk’ spaces, some areas for work and reading.
The main challenge in this space was about treating the areas that does not have natural light.

We re-used some old tiles that remind us of old Beirut and keeps the memory of the city alive.
Between the kitchen and the living space lays a natural wooden bar that reflects the client’s love of nature and social life.

The brick wall creates warm and a transition with the outer city.

Location: Gemayze area - Ashrafye - Beirut
Area: 50 square meter space + 30 square meter terrace

The main concept of this space is to create a peaceful loft in the heart of Beirut, with an aquarelle color pallet.

The terrace extension will be covered with natural wood and some greenery, creating a small jungle and a barbeque area for the sunny day in Beirut.

The concept is to use local tree branches and create gadgets at affordable prices, in order to encourage the local production and the respect of the environment.
